Pricing
The prices indicated are for the meat, side, or sweet items only. These prices are subject to change without notice. The prices shown do not include the shipping charges. A Real-time Freight calculator is provided to quickly see those charges.
Payment Information
We accept Visa and Mastercard when placing your order online. Payment is due at the time the order is placed.
Shipping Logistics
Special Recipe Gifts ships the beginning of each week for order delivery by the weekend. Ordering by 12:00 p.m. the Saturday previous insures that the order is shipped the following week. You may choose your preferred ship date from the drop down calendar provided. We ship your order as close as possible to the requested ship date. We cannot guarantee delivery on a specific day or time. Please include the most accurate address possible, including apartment or suite numbers. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO, FPO addresses or Puerto Rico. We solely ship within the continental U.S. It is very important that your recipient is home to receive their package. It is at the discretion of U.P.S. to leave the package if no one is home to receive it. U.P.S. may leave the package at the door; we do not require a signature of receipt. We cannot be responsible for packages delivered to an address that is not occupied.
Gift Messages
The greeting, which you type as you place, the order, will appear on the shipping label of the package. If no greeting is provided, the message will read, “Greetings from…(the sender).”
Ground / 2 Day Air U.P.S.
We ship within Illinois and to our neighboring states: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana using U.P.S. ground service. To insure that each order is delivered in a timely fashion, in good condition, we ship to all other states not listed above, throughout the continental United States, using United Parcel Service’s 2 day air service.
U.P.S. Tracking
When your order is shipped, U.P.S. will email the sender and the recipient, (email addresses were provided in the ordering process), the U.P.S. tracking number. Track packages at www.ups.com.
Receipt of Shipment
Our perishable products are shipped frozen to ensure freshness and quality. Instructions for care of our products are included. You may refrigerate or refreeze your items when they arrive. Please allow 24-48 hours to thaw our products and schedule your ship dates accordingly.
Cancellation / Changes
Cancellations must be made at least one week prior to the requested ship date. Email your cancellation request to help@specialrecipegifts.com. Please provide us with your name, daytime phone number, and Special Recipe Gifts order number. We will contact you by email and phone if necessary to confirm the cancellation. If you notice an error in your order, and have received your order confirmation, please email us as soon as possible at help@specialrecipegifts.com.

Address Limitations
We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO, FPO addresses or Puerto Rico. We solely ship within the continental U.S. Please be sure all addresses are correct and include daytime phone numbers and email addresses for recipients. If an incorrect address is provided, we are not responsible for these items shipped to an incorrect or incomplete address. It is the sender’s responsibility to cover the costs for reshipment of an item in the event that Special Recipe Gifts was provided with an incorrect or incomplete address or delivery date.
